Granted it is a gloriously loud and sonorous chime but the hourstriker chimes the number of hours on the hour and once on the half hour I wish for more chimes. That said the One Strike is an excellent advancement using the sapphire gong.
If not the small matter of $$$ I would love the Full Strike. The volume of the chimes is so crisp and loud it is truly amazing. Am going to be “settling” it seems got the One Strike
baby will require a turn of the crown and its good to go. Mine is a RG GMT+/- Perpetual. One trip to the spa in 20 years isn't bad. Still enjoy it. One of a number of innovations the brand brought to the market back in the day.
I have been told that there is more in the works but no specifics. I am sure there will be new variations of the current themes but I hope for completely new complications
I am pleased the brand is finally thinking about the Duometre lineand I hope this is the harbinger of more interesting models. Would love to see other complications in the line (I have a few in mind). I have made my choice to keep up my sampling.
