I had a nice chat with Stephan who was also at the NYC Boutique opening. He pointed out some of the differences in the newer Datograph version which I believe also applies to the Datoperpetual. You can see in the 2nd photo the adjustment weights on the ba...

But the rotor needs a great decoration. I don't like the rotor in Sax-o-mat, looks a bit cheap. Just my two cents :-)

I much prefer the decoration (and the lay-out) of the Sax O Mat... I find the central rotor movements over decorated! Matter of taste! Fx
