I had a nice chat with Stephan who was also at the NYC Boutique opening. He pointed out some of the differences in the newer Datograph version which I believe also applies to the Datoperpetual. You can see in the 2nd photo the adjustment weights on the ba... 

And you will find the same difference between the two generations of Lange One! Fx

No rotor to block the view of half the movement. Great photos, thank you!

But... I would be curious to see an automatic chronograph by Lange... Fx

But the rotor needs a great decoration. I don't like the rotor in Sax-o-mat, looks a bit cheap. Just my two cents :-)

I much prefer the decoration (and the lay-out) of the Sax O Mat... I find the central rotor movements over decorated! Matter of taste! Fx
