Lange 1815 Moonphase Emil Lange Platinum, a summer delight.

By all means...

On a stone:

On lavanda:

And, sorry, I couldn't resist, on crude ham...  wink

A jewel of a Watch, for sure.

Best,

Nicolas

Beyond good and evil: this is something that is absolute!

Next time we meet would you show me some of these masterpieces? :-) Have a nice Sunday Nicolas! massi

Well, not convinced by the third pic but the first two are beautiful.

I think the background on the 3rd shot is a first! Dave

A jewel of a watch ... totally agree!

I see that you are enjoying your vacations and that you brought quite a few friends with you! customs are not picky when travelling with a number of high-value watches? Great full-frame backgrounds, I like that! ;) ...and specially the last one, that was ...

The Honey Gold 1815 Moonphase II is a nice watch, but it cannot compete with the first.

 By: amanico : August 24th, 2014-10:41
It lost a lot of the charm, the preciousness of the first edition. No problems with the Customs, all the watches being perfectly documented. All the best, my friend. Nicolas

I mean the sister gold version

 By: Alex83 : August 24th, 2014-14:29
Sorry mine was unclear, I mean the Moonphase I but in gold; what do you think of that version?

The Rose Gold first generation black dial is also a superb piece.

 By: amanico : August 24th, 2014-22:27
Rose gold works well with this Watch whose dimensions are modest. In fact, both, platinum and rose gold, are great. Less impressed by Honey gold 2d generation. Best, Nicolas

What a beauty!

The first pic is simply sublime!. I love it! Could you possibly post a pic of the back please? Thanks. Regards Ian

For your eyes...

Much more appealing than the IId version! Best, Nicolas ...

Yours was born first, but barely!...

Your #17, and my #18... ...

Matching numbers on yours? Bravo! What a Duo, my friend, what a Duo.

I am not a colored gold guy, but I must say that the rose gold version always impressed me. Ok, I prefer the Platinum, but the rose gold has such a charm! Best, Nicolas

15 years later, still the most beautiful Lange ever made...

 By: DTL : August 24th, 2014-22:05
I opted for the RG which is uberly romantic, but the Pt is magical!

Agreed on the romantic character of the rose gold.

 By: amanico : August 24th, 2014-22:35
And more than agree on the most beautiful ( with the Anniversary ) Lange ever made. Sadly they belong to a bygone era. Best, Nicolas

Bygone Era indeed...

Much has been lost - be it charm, proportion, or integrity - in the upsized Langes of recent years, so the fun of the hunt has to be for older pieces!

A pure beauty, a jewel, I am speachless!

Certainly my favourite L&S. Of course not for everyday wear but for certain occasions. Absolutely stunning. A watch for very fine connoisseur. Huge congrats Nico! Best, Mike

I got it in 2010, in October, so 4 years, soon.

 By: amanico : August 25th, 2014-23:16
I didn't wear it a lot because my two other Lange " disappeared " in January 2011. But now, I wear it quite often, and with a lot of pleasure. A top elegant Watch, maybe the most elegant I own. Best, my friend! Nicolas

Most Beautiful

This Lange is superb, the dial, the size, perfecto.... and that ham makes me hungry, its time for me to eat another Iberico Ham:-) Regards, Ronald

I'll take it on all three...

 By: patrick_y : August 26th, 2014-09:12
Stone, lavender, or prosciutto. I'll take it on all three. How about wrapped in prosciutto? Beautiful pics!

Great pictures, which bring back very good memories ...

Nicolas, thanks for sharing! Oliver ...

Thanks, Oliver. I took another series which is much better, though.

Will publish later, this year... All the best, Nicolas

Pfff !

My Nico, As usual, you're a tasteful guy because this moon phase is one of the most beautiful ever made. As my Langes has been stolen, I would like to get ONE again but it wouldn't be this one, but the Langematik anniversary. If 2, the anniversary and thi...

Totally agree. Langematik Anniversary and this one. These are

In my opinion, too, the two most desirable Lange. Then comes the Dato, then th Lange One Pt Black dial, then the Cabaret Pt black dial. My Langes were stolen, too, so I can well imagine how you feel. Best! Nicolas
