... this new Cabaret has got a solid case back and not a sapphire back? I wonder if this is the only difference to the first Cabaret? Great that you picked this topic up from TonyR. Best Moritz

I hope our Moderator could get more details ;-)) from L&S. Thanks for your reply. Patrickh

...the solid caseback is only because this watch has no movement (show piece). stere

Could be an explanation

But with the solid case back it would distinguish itself from the regular Cabaret. We really do need more infos here. Moritz

Looking forward to some answers as well.

I was invited to an event at the boutique last night but didnt go because I am under the weather. I was going to get more details on those watches, if I have a chance I'll stop by this weekend. Tony

My guess is, no novelties

A similar "Darth" Cabaret with solid case back - engraved with Walter Lange´s signature - from 1999 was sold at auction in November 2013 (Auktionen Dr. Crott, Germany). So I am afraid, no new limited editions. The 1815 up and down Walter Lange with hunter...

I think that they are both new pieces..........

The Cabaret would not be at the boutique if it wasn't new and for sale, there is a description below each watch in that picture. The 1815 up/down looks new as well, I know they did them with a 37mm case this watch in the photo looks like its housed in a b...

now new...

if these pics are from the NYC boutique, then these are not new, but old LE editions - they are in fact displays from a collector who generously lent some pieces from his collection to the boutique for the opening.

Interesting, thanks Fx................

You saved me a trip to the boutique this weekend!!!! I'm kind of suprised that they had watches in there not for sale. Tony

They belong to a collector who lent them in the context of the exhibition at the boutique.

It is the reason why they are displayed on the first floor and not with the other watches. Fx
