Cheers! fernando...

This one could be my Fx-moment if I decide to get it

I have to differ here, my friend. It is, maybe, the only Lange that I do not get at all. However, the version in black looks good and makes it an appealing watch and maybe it grows on me like the Grande L1 WG of Fx but the chances are very slim. Best Mori...

Strange u say that Moritz!

I had this watch in 2006 or 2007 in Pt. but it didn't stay long for similar reasons. It's just not your quintessential Lange. So I guess this is my Fx moment the second time round. :) The black dial does make a difference and the movement with the 3 quart...

Thanks Fernando for the wristshot!

It is always good to remember these Langematik. And the new Saxonia we presented a few days ago take some details from them. Fx

Before the fancy stuff...

an automatic watch with an easily set date (pusher) and time (zero reset) in a respectable size is all we ever needed. Add the three quarter rotor and the layout of the movement together with the black dial ... how could I resist? :) Herr Walter Lange is ...

I agree, I happen to love the Langematik..............

and am wearing mine today as well. I will say that it's a watch that grew on me it wasn't love at first sight but neither was the 1815 Chrono. I've owned the platinum version for about 5 years now and couldn't ever imagine selling it or the 1815 Chrono fo...

Here's mine..................

The top one (blue hands) is mine, and the bottom one (YG luminous hands) was mine. ...

Honestly to me this watch looks great in all of the metals. I even like the non date versions with the twelve at the top. The langematik movement is to die for and you can't get it now unless you buy one of Lange's higher end pieces. Tony

I think the 301.021 YG Langematik With No Date is spectacular...and the movement!...

I've always loved the YG Langematik with No Date but have never owned it. The proportions and the dial design are classic. And I agree 100% that the Langematik movement is a real treat for the eyes. Several of us were recently comparing various Lange move...

I forgot to ask CR....................

Were the blued hands a custom request? I know Lange used to change hands for customers upon request but I have heard that they don't do that anymore. I kind of like the lume hands but the blued pair looks like a rare treat! Do you have more pictures? Than...

I don't have any more good pictures but...

... I do have one more old lousy one (below). I assume these hands were blue because either the original authorized dealer or the original owner requested it. You are correct that Lange doesn't allow such changes anymore. Back in mid-2003, I purchase two ...

what a great story........
