Zeitwerk disc moves

Jan 17, 2015,23:22 PM

Thanks to Sunny and Parisian Lange Team Boutique for their warm welcome and help to take these photos:

First at 8 H 01 min 26 sec

all numbers are under the same line

now at 8 H 01 min and 56 sec

you can notice that 8 and 0 are on the same bottom line and 1 has just a lower position (in order to prepare the global move change of the 3 discs). The energy to move all these 3 dics at the same time is important, so the larger disc (i.e. unit for minute) has to start earlier.

Then at 8 H 02 min 0 sec ;-))

So lucky my camera shooted so quickly ;-)))

Have a nice Sunday, waiting the SIHH opening tomorrow.

Cheers,

Patrickh

BUT under plastic ;-( Do you think L&S will propose a new offer tomorrow with a smaller version? BRs, Patrickh ...

Mine was offered under the counter even, and not only under plastic :-).

I am not sure about a smaller ZW as it would need a new movement to be such. The movement to case ratio is already more towards the movement in my opinion and I do not think the case can be made smaller with the same movement. I found it quite well balanc...

Very nice pictures.

And the ZW looks great in that color. A beautiful contrast to the WG.
