Chinese New Year celebration for Singapore Lange collectors
This evening I had the good fortune to be invited by Lange Singapore, together with other Lange collectors here, for a Chinese New Year celebration. Today is also the 7th day of the Lunar New Year and to all Chinese, it is also our birthdays 
It was another evening of great fun, friendship, sharing and food
Many PuristS from Singapore attended this event too - always a pleasure to catch up with them in person
Some pics here to share the event with fellow PuristS here. Warning - many foodie shots are shared here. Lange Singapore cleverly chose many delicious dishes for us tonight that are also very healthy. It's good to have such healthy food after all the snacks we took during the Chinese New Year celebrations the past few days. We even have detox food like Beetroot!
I tried to take some nice shots of watches from fellow collectors to share too. Lighting wasn't the best so apologies for some of the pics.
Finally, I would like to wish all Chinese PuristS a happy birthday! May all of you have a blessed Ren Re (day of man)!

I am so sorry I didn't take a nicer pic as it was too dark. One Singapore collector collector his Lange 1 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst!! The first collector in Singapore who got one I think. This is one piece out of only 20 for sale!

Dinner started quite on time - we took a break looking at each others Langes
A very unique Lo Hei (Cantonese for Toss Up) - a special Chinese New Year dish for good fortune
This Lo Hei is very special with 3 kinds of sashimi as well as organic vegetables - very healthy!

After tossing we can now eat the food
Japanese tomatoes. Another healthy dish. Lange sure wants us to be healthy tonight - a good start to the year !
Crab meat and roe in eggplant. It was delicious!
The crab meat is hot within the eggplant. Very creative presentation
King scallops in beetroot soup. Another very healthy dish! We have a saying "health equals wealth". Lange Singapore clearly wants us all to be healthy in the year of the goat so we have the money to buy more Langes lol!!
Prawn with egg white. Yummy !! Not oily or salty at all. Another healthy dish tonight
Pork ribs. Finally a less healthy dish to satisfy the carnivores !

Coconut ice cream as dessert. I love this ice cream and wished they gave us two scoops instead!

Our door gifts for tonight - each of us got a live money plant with an empty Lange red packet for good luck. We were asked to grow the plant well. We all hoped there was a Lange watch voucher of discount voucher in the red packet but alas... it was really empty lol

My approach to collecting is to limit myself to one watch per brand, and to have that one watch be the brand's relatively strongest model compared to all other watch brands' offerings. The struggle is real, because sometimes I prefer a brand's model that ...
