Your favorite 'off-time' watch (could be sporty, could be social etc.)
By: nilomis : October 31st, 2013-09:06
Team, Here we go. Now should be Friday 00:06 in Singapore. This week the theme is " Your favorite 'off-time' watch (could be sporty, could be social etc) that gets lots of wrist time " (thanks Ken). Here are my current favorites, let's see yours: Glasshut...
Yep....
By: Baron - Mr Red : October 31st, 2013-09:52
.....no regret buying this one this year. May even extend the range next year!!
it will be another Amvox...
By: Baron - Mr Red : October 31st, 2013-10:05
.....i like several, but the trouble is with the Amvox range, you really need to see it on the wrist.... funny as it is why i am really looking forward to your amvox thread. The tribe to DSA is on my list too... but its one of the 'many" 2014 ideas.
So, necessarily Amvox II?
By: amanico : October 31st, 2013-10:09
Or the TT DSA... Which is another great choice. Or better... Both! ;) Best, Nicolas
many appeal...for sure...
By: Baron - Mr Red : October 31st, 2013-12:00
....i am starting to make my list of watches to have on my wrist in 2014..... a very good game
I am a big fan..

....of peeking into Pandora's box!
OK- only thing: I might have to hold on my wallet .. ;)
By: hs111 : November 1st, 2013-01:53
But kind thanks for the encouragement ! :) - several topics' boxes are open already, therefore : ".. to peek or not to peek, that's the question here" But we both know the answer, at least deep down.. All The best for your WE, hs
That's is a great "go to" ...
By: nilomis : October 31st, 2013-09:32
I miss my Amvox I (on a certain time I had two) that I need to trade for a grail. Cheers, Nilo
Thing is....
By: Baron - Mr Red : October 31st, 2013-09:52
.....right now I need a watch with an alarm function.... and also need one that doesn't bling or shout Rolex..... The Amvox 1 is just perfect.....really useful function and my wife loves it....my two JLC she loves the most Polaris 65 (TT) and Amvox 1!!
Wonderful photo of the AMVOX I !

Don't forget the Vlad Side... ;)
By: amanico : October 31st, 2013-09:37
One amusing thing... I think it is safer to have a walk in any street with any of these, rather than wearing a Rolex, even a simple one. The good thing with thugs us that they have no culture. ;) Best, Nicolas

This has been my go to offtime watch for the last couple of weeks ...
Haunting !
By: flamenco : November 2nd, 2013-00:10
Seen this once and it has haunted me since ! Great watch for the weekends ! Nice !
The best part
By: rnaden : November 2nd, 2013-00:12
Is that I can take it off on Sunday nights and it is usually still running on Friday evenings when I put it back on. Time to fix those hauntings already and make it reality ;-)

I need to see one "in metal". Great wrist shot. I love unusual angles. Cheers, Nilo
Thanks, Nilo
By: rnaden : November 2nd, 2013-02:11
At the time, it was the only angle that I had minimal reflections. As with seeing one in the metal, that's how all unplanned purchases start, though it almost always ends up in a very good way ;-)

Not too shabby...

Just simple and practical:) The blue strap gives the Daytona a new life. Thank you Flamenco. Cheers Francois
Thank you HS, agree with you about.......
By: Sandgroper : November 2nd, 2013-19:25
the blue strap, I am amazed to see what a different strap colour can do to a watch, same face different clothes, just like a new person:) Cheers Francois
Two classics.

Francois, The theme is "off time" and not iconic watches. ... He he. This AP seems to be a favorite here and the Daytona is ... A Daytona. Cheers, Nilo
Humble in comparison with some watches shown inthis thread, but...
By: Subexplorer : November 2nd, 2013-06:48
... a timepiece I love and is always ready to be worn in some special occasions. A watch I desired a lot to own, which makes me smile everytime I wear on my wrist. Have a great week end my dear friends!! Kind regards, Abel. ...
Humble! ...

Abel, You are lucky that Nicolas is visiting Mr. Bim in Belgium (?). By any definition a Reverso Rouge is far, very far to be humble. A classic on the making, for sure. Add to that, the Eiffel Tower. Paris. Congratulations, Nilo
I love the Rouge ...

The dial color and the perfect balance on the dial. If it had running seconds (my OCD prevents me to have a watch that I cannot see it "moving"). Saludos, Nilo
Great shot
