Spending quality time with the DS! I know it's big, bulky and heavy but the things we put up with ..... Here are some wrist shots to share: Thanks for looking and a happy Sunday to all! fernando...

Wow the mighty DS just looks great on your wrist!

I especially love the blue hue from the anti reflective coating on the sapphire glass, giving it a nice color combination of platinum case, black dial and bluish hue from the glass. Just perfect! Cheers Robin

So that's where....

 By: fernando : November 16th, 2014-00:58
the bluish hue comes from - the glass and not the dial! This means the Darth and others with black dial have no anti-reflective glass, so no bluish hue. :) Thanks Robin. Best fernando

Must be an excellent Sunday with Double Split!

Sadly for me, I simply couldn't carry it Maybe some day I shall own it again! Enjoy in the best of health Regards Tom

You had that one as well?

Tom, you are my hero! And Fernando, a great watch that, like any Lange, is not too big!

Yes but.....

I couldn't get used to its size thus it didn't get the wrist time that it deserved. Found a good home for it at the end. I am still waiting for an update of your "digital" watch! Tom

Or too small :) [nt]

Thank you Tom!

It's borderline over the top for me as far as size is concerned but seeing that it packs a huge punch in terms of its complication and the movement is unlikely to fit into a smaller case, I have accepted it for what it is - form follows function. I like y...

Thanks for your kind words

But I believe lange can make it smaller. Even the Dato which is more wearable for me can be made thinner I am sure. Whether they want to do that is another story. Tom

Thanks Fx! [nt]

Big and bulky as you say...

 By: BABKA : November 16th, 2014-12:45
...but the best looking movement on the planet! Thanks for sharing!

Hard to disagree. :)

cheers fernando ...

I think that the chunkiness of the watch..............

 By: TonyR : November 16th, 2014-17:44
Really works well aesthetically speaking although I'm sure its very heavy and takes some getting used to. Its rarely seen but i really like the watch in rose gold as well, thanks for sharing Fernando! Tony

I think it does...

 By: fernando : November 16th, 2014-18:00
work in its favour Tony, especially when you flip it over. :) It's not something I would like to wear daily but on the occasion that I do put it on, it puts a big smile on my face. :) Cheers fernando

Great shots of an amazing watch!

I share your same sentiment. The DS is Huge and feels Huge on the wrist. So I rarely wear mine, maybe about 4 times total a month. However, everytime I do wear it, it also brings a Huge smile to my face (so it will never leave my collection). Here's mine ...

I could say the same about yours. :)

Glad we share the same sentiments (and watch). :) cheers fernando
