acid

Hi,

A decade ago I had the same issue.. Pre-Steelinox I believe.

It happened when I dropped some acid on the clasp! Looks like the same kind of issue. I only managed to get it off when I sent my Rolex in for a total polish/service.

Cheers.

Have you tried using acetone? Or buy a cape cod cloth and mask the brushed parts with tape and polish careful.

Solution...

There is a jewelry company, Chamilia, that has a wonderful polishing cloth. About three soft wipes on just the polished link and I'm positive it will be gone. I've used it many times on polished areas of watches without any problemas.

Thanks guys! I'll check it out =) [nt]
