Greetings to all!  Took these photos of the lovely RL PLM (property of a Gentleman Purist) a few months ago but haven't posted them here previously:

A very enjoyable piece to photograph.  Thanks to my good friend for the loan!

To fully appreciate the depth of the enamel dial, and to avoid reflections... Superb job, my friend. By far the nicest photos I've ever seen on this PLM! Best, and thanks. Nicolas

I'd give my right arm to have this piece. Gary, Nicolas said it all. Beautiful work. Joe

Thanks 4Js!

The good news is that you would still have your left arm to put the watch on Seriously, this is a fairly important piece of kit -- that chain and fusee really put some pop into a simple looking watch! Best, Gary

Thank you, Nicolas!

Sorry that I didn't respond sooner, but I was conserving posts trying to hit my Dufour delivery exactly on 2000... I found this piece OK to photograph -- I agree with you that the dial side is tricky, and required a fair number of set-ups before I found a...

That is the interesting thing, with Photography.

It also helps you to better know the watch you're taking picutres of... Thanks for your answer, Gary. Best, Nicolas

Sublime!

I love it when people take such beautiful shots of a very well deserved piece! You should pull on it Gary! Stephen

Happily for me

...the owner of this watch is very generous in inviting me to wear his watches when I have them for photo sessions. I try not to abuse the privilege, and heaven forbid that I should scratch one of these beauties! Maybe some day I will find a way to own one...

Thanks a lot Gary for these nice pictures. [nt]

There is always a bit of a sigh of relief at returning such a valuable item safely to its owner, but it was a real treat to have this one for a few days Best, Gary

Great shots, Gary! [nt]

This one was a treat to photograph, and I was particularly pleased with that first movement shot -- came out pretty well. Thanks, Gary

This and the simplicity

I don't know if there were more amazing simple watch ever done... I don't see for the moment. (maybe the 1815 moonphase Pt which I have a crush for). thanks for sharing Francois

Simple, and yet

...so complex! A loupe view of the fusee and chain just leaves one breathless... Best, Gary

Great pictures, and great watch! [nt]

I will try to drop by and see you sometime soon -- would be great to discuss things Lange. Best, Gary

Great photos, haven't had the pleasure

of seeing one in the metal but I admire the simplicity of the dial and the details of the movement.

That movement.........

I handled the RG model in Harrods recently. It is a sublime watch.

I'm a RG guy

 By: Gary G : March 21st, 2012-22:14
...and in this watch I think I might actually like the RG a little better than the PT! Not the case for all watches for me (or even Langes -- I strongly prefer the PT Double Split to the RG version) -- but with the enamel dial the RG adds a bit of warmth ...

Thanks, Ed

It's a pretty unassuming watch as seen from the front, but has real presence -- and the movement is gorgeous, as we've come to expect from Lange. Best, Gary

Has great wrist presence

And in PT has a fair amount of mass as well! Glad you enjoyed the photos. Best, Gary

Pure excellence from Lange...

It's a real pleasure for me to be able to investigate lovely pieces like this through the lens, and I'm always pleased when you and others like the results as well. Thanks again, Gary

..."I could sure use one of those" Probably my most favourite of time only watches.... Fabulous photos of the movement. The finishing reminded me in no way at all of the finishing we achieved in Plans les Ouates in January! Best regards Gary

great watch
