(because it is written on the right corner)
madness because of watches … PuristS Pro Moderator written on a “business” card …
To be honest, I was not aware that there will be something
like an announcement this weekend and therefore I was not prepared.
Nonetheless
I would like to say Thanks, to your
warm welcome (here, via PM & via Email) and to Magnus for featuring it.
Being a Purist means:
“To me it means sharing passion for watches (sometimes even
more) with people all over the world. It only works if people here feel
comfortable,
find their way how to participate and to create an added value for
the community. …
Being a Purist is even better, when you meet other PuristS in
the real world – SIHH, Basel, GTGs … .”
I had the pleasure to share quality time, watches, champagne,
wine, beer, food (all levels) … in Basel, Geneva, London, Paris, Berlin,
Vienna, Munich,
Kitzbuehel, Zürich, Dresden, Hamburg, Copenhagen … with some of
you (collectors, connoisseurs, photographers, watchmakers …)
and I am really
looking forward to the next occasions – anywhere in the world. At the end of
the day it is not (only) about the watches, it is about the people
behind.
Being a moderator, what will change? So far I think not that
much, because I love to share knowledge and passion about watches (and finer
things in life) with YOU.
If there is something more behind, like deleting
posts or taking care of peoples behave … Will have to find out that
When I asked my wife about her thoughts regarding being a
moderator here, she said: “You spend lots of time on that forum, anyway.”
She
said it with a twinkle in her eyes and I think she is fine with the new
situation
Will I be even more a part of the world of generosity/unselfishness
from Thomas … a part of the dark side of the world from Nicolas ... a part of …
in any case I am a small part of the world of PuristS (like before) and a new
member to the moderators team.
The latter means big shoes, but hey Let´s try and have fun!
